Hello, friends and neighbors—I’m Chip Durpo, your dedicated neighbor who’s present much of the year, cherishing our stunning mountain views and fostering strong community ties. My wife Melanie and I have proudly called Sky Valley our second home since 1980, and have been married for 44 years as of 2025. We have one wonderful daughter, Kelly Durpo Baldwin, who lives at Lake Oconee with her husband, Connor Baldwin. I’m grateful for their unwavering support as I step up to serve our community openly.
With over 44 years as a serial real estate portfolio entrepreneur and broker/owner at Durpo Realty Associates, LLC, I bring unmatched expertise in business and budgeting management, along with a deep familiarity with the systems that keep communities like River Vista running smoothly—from property maintenance to effective governance. This hands-on experience has honed my skills in managing properties, navigating complex challenges, and ensuring efficient operations, all while prioritizing transparency and fiscal responsibility.
My thorough understanding of our covenants and bylaws, gained through extensive research and active engagement, uniquely positions me to lead with insight and effectiveness. If elected President, I’ll be a steadfast advocate for you, the Lot Owners, working tirelessly to restore harmony between residents, the Board of Directors, and Management. We deserve leadership that upholds our shared values, resolves conflicts fairly, boosts transparency, and drives positive changes.
